PWA preferences may be stored in your browser's local storage.
Images are processed in your browser with Tesseract.js, with no account required.
This policy will be updated if analytics, accounts, server uploads, or external APIs are added.
TextLens is an image-to-text OCR utility that extracts text from document images.
By default, OCR runs in the user's browser and the application does not require an account.
The application may store small preferences in browser local storage, including the PWA installation prompt status.
These values remain on the user's device until browser storage is cleared.
Hosting providers may process standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps for security, troubleshooting, and operation.
This application uses Tesseract.js for in-browser OCR. Tesseract language and core data may be downloaded from the jsDelivr CDN and cached by your browser; document images and extracted text are not sent to that CDN. Any future analytics, payment, authentication, or server upload services will be documented here.
Use reasonable security practices for your final application, especially when adding user accounts, file uploads, databases, or external integrations.
Update this policy whenever your application changes how it stores, processes, or shares data.
